Web hosting FAQs
What’s the difference between self-service and managed hosting?
With self-service hosting you order online and manage your own cPanel account. With managed hosting, our team sets everything up, moves your website and email across, and looks after it for you. Managed hosting is quoted to suit what you need.
Can you move my website from another host?
Yes. As part of managed hosting we move your website, email and domain across and plan the switch to avoid downtime. Self-service customers can also ask us for a one-off migration.
Where is my website hosted?
On our own servers in UK data centres, managed by our team.
Can I upgrade my plan later?
Yes. You can upgrade from your client area at any time, and your website and email stay exactly where they are.
Can I pay annually?
Yes. Every plan can be paid monthly or annually. Paying annually costs the same as ten months, so you get two months free.
Do I get email with my hosting?
Yes. Every plan includes cPanel mailboxes. If you need shared calendars, Teams or larger mailboxes, Microsoft 365 is usually a better fit.
