SECURITY TOOLS
Email header analyser
Paste an email’s headers to see where it really came from, whether it passed SPF, DKIM and DMARC, and any warning signs of phishing.
🔒 Analysed in your browser. Nothing you paste is uploaded or stored.
How to find them
Outlook: open the email, choose File, then Properties, and copy the Internet headers box. Outlook on the web and new Outlook: select the three dots, then View, then View message source. Gmail: select the three dots, then Show original.
What it checks
The delivery route and delays between servers, SPF, DKIM and DMARC results, the sending IP address, Microsoft 365’s spam verdict, and tricks like a reply address on a different domain.
Is it a phishing email?
Headers help, but they can’t prove an email is safe. If it asks for money, passwords or a change of bank details, check by phone using a number you already have.
