Business phone systems FAQs
Can we keep our phone numbers?
In most cases, yes. Geographic and non-geographic numbers can usually be ported to the new system, and we manage the process for you.
Will VoIP work on our internet connection?
Most business connections handle voice calls easily. We’ll check yours first, and if it needs upgrading we can supply broadband or a leased line too.
What happens if the internet goes down?
Calls can be diverted automatically to mobiles or another site, so you don’t miss customers while the connection is restored.
What do we need to do about the PSTN switch-off?
If you use traditional phone lines, ISDN, or older alarm and payment lines, they will need moving to digital services. Get in touch and we’ll review what you have and what needs to change.
Do we need new handsets?
Not always. Some existing handsets can be reused, and many people prefer the mobile or desktop app. We’ll advise once we know what you have.
