NETWORK TOOLS
Connection test from our network
Test whether a website, server or office connection can be reached from the Posilan network, and how quickly it responds.
What it does
We connect to the address and port you choose four times from our network and show whether each attempt worked and how long it took, a bit like a ping.
When to use it
To check whether an office connection, website or mail server is reachable from outside, for example after a broadband or leased-line fault.
Why a port?
Many routers and firewalls ignore ping, so we test a real service port instead, such as 443 for HTTPS, which gives a more reliable answer.
